About Me

Hello! I'm Gloria Martinez, an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer. I craft interactive, meaningful learning experiences rooted in adult learning theory to help individuals apply new skills effectively in their roles.

Organization and structure drive me, making project management second nature. I thrive on planning with the end in mind, streamlining tasks and deadlines. Whether professional or personal, I find joy in setting clear goals and managing them efficiently through to-do lists and calendar appointments.

Creating engaging learning experiences is my passion. I firmly believe in setting clear goals, ensuring accessibility, and relevance for every learning experience. My mission is to empower all learners to feel confident and successful in achieving their objectives. I thrive on connecting with clients, discovering what motivates them, and implementing strategies to keep them engaged throughout the learning process.

Lifelong learning is essential for personal growth and fulfillment. It's about challenging  ourselves and celebrating achievements along the journey. Everyone deserves to feel succesful and enjoy the process of working towards larger goals. As a lifelong learner, I cherish continual growth and welcome constructive feedback as a means of progress.

I thrive on exploring the vast array of technology tools available today, constantly seeking out new ones to enhance learning experiences. I am proficient with the following tools: Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, Vyond, Audacity, Canva, Final Cut Pro, Microsoft Office and Google Suites, Screencastify, Teams, and Zoom.

Outside of work, you can find me on long walks with my loyal companion, Cooper the German Shepherd, or enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. I am a firm believer that sunshine and good company cure all. I also enjoy cooking and embarking on hiking excursions with my close friends and family. I value activities that take time and attention, letting me relax and fully enjoy the company and the adventure.
